Eligibility Check
Find out in 20 seconds if we can help.
A short eligibility check designed by our clinical team. A few quick questions about your history and what you’ve already tried. Your answers go straight to a consultant for review — and our team will be in touch, usually within one working day.

- The Check
Let's see if we're the right fit.
We’d rather be honest about who we can and can’t help than waste your time. Take a minute to answer the questions below — there are no wrong answers.
Check Your Eligibility
Quick assessment – takes less than 20 seconds. Our consultants will review your answers and confirm if you’re eligible.
- Next Steps
What happens after you submit.
- WITHIN HOURS
A consultant reviews your answers
Your submission goes directly to our clinical team — no auto-responders, no sales funnel. A consultant looks at what you’ve shared.
- WITHIN 1 WORKING DAY
We get in touch personally
We’ll call or email — whichever you prefer — to let you know whether we think we can help, and to answer your questions honestly.
- IF IT'S A FIT
A free discovery call
A no-pressure conversation with our team. We explain everything in plain English. You decide if you’d like to proceed to a clinical assessment.
We respond to every submission — even the ones where the answer is “not yet” or “we’re not the right fit.”
- Our Typical Patient
Most of our patients arrive after years of trying.
There isn’t a single profile — we treat people from every age group, every walk of life, every part of the UK and beyond. But the patients we help most often share one thing: they’ve already done the hard work of trying, and trying again, and trying differently. They’re not arriving fresh.
You may be a good fit if:
- You're 18 or over
- You've tried two or more antidepressants at adequate doses, without sustained improvement
- You've engaged with therapy — CBT, EMDR, trauma-focused, or otherwise — and it hasn't been enough on its own
- You've been struggling for years, not weeks
- You can self-fund treatment (typically £10,000–£15,000 for a full programme)
- You're motivated to commit to a 4–6 month programme
- Honest Boundaries
When we're not the right fit.
We’d rather be honest now than waste your time and money. There are several situations where ketamine therapy at Save Minds isn’t the right path — and where you’d be better served by other care first. Where this is the case, we’ll always tell you, and we’ll help point you toward what could help.
We’re not the right fit if:
- You're under 18 — we treat adults only
- You haven't yet tried medication or therapy — your GP and NHS routes are the right place to start
- You're in immediate crisis or actively suicidal right now — please call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123 first, then come and speak with us about what comes next
- You have uncontrolled high blood pressure or unstable heart conditions
- You have active psychosis or untreated bipolar I disorder
- You have current substance dependency — we'd need this addressed first
- You're currently pregnant
- Your primary condition is something we don't treat — bipolar disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, or schizophrenia spectrum
Some of these situations are “not yet” rather than “never.” If you’re not sure where you fit, please complete the eligibility check anyway and let our team respond properly.
- Cost Transparency
Be honest with yourself about the cost.
Most of our patients spend between £10,000 and £15,000 on a complete programme. Ketamine therapy for mental health is not covered by NHS funding, and UK private medical insurance doesn’t cover it either, because it’s classified as “off-label” use. There are no payment plans — fees are paid as you attend each session.
We mention this here, prominently, because the kindest thing we can do is help you decide whether this is realistic for you before you invest your hopes in it. Many people we speak to have already done years of NHS treatment and want different options — but we’d rather you know the financial reality at the start than feel ambushed later.

“I tried five different antidepressants over more than a decade. Nothing held. Within nine weeks at Save Minds, my depression score dropped by 80% — and the suicidal thoughts I’d lived with for years simply went.”

- Common Questions
Questions about the eligibility check.
What if I'm not sure about some of the questions?
Answer as best you can. The check is a starting point, not a test. Where you’re uncertain, our consultant can clarify during the discovery call. We’d rather hear from you with some uncertainty than not hear from you at all.
Will I get rejected immediately if I answer something “wrong”?
No. Every submission is reviewed by a member of our clinical team — there’s no automatic filter. If something in your answers needs clarification, we’ll ask. If we think you’d be better served by a different route, we’ll tell you honestly and try to point you in a helpful direction.
How long until I hear back?
Usually within one working day. Submissions made overnight or at weekends are reviewed first thing the next working morning. If you haven’t heard from us within two working days, please call us on +44 20 7722 0865.
What if I'd rather just talk to someone first, before doing the form?
Completely fine. Call us directly on +44 20 7722 0865 (Monday–Saturday) or use the “Speak to Our Team” button at the top of this page. A discovery call is free and comes with no commitment.
Will my GP or family find out I've made an enquiry?
No. Nothing is shared with anyone — GP, family, employer, NHS records — without your explicit written consent. Your enquiry is entirely confidential.
What if I'm enquiring on behalf of a family member?
Many of our patients first hear about us through a family member doing the research. You’re welcome to fill in the form for someone else — just tell us in the message field. We’ll work out the right next step together.
The first step is just answering.
Take the check above, or if you’d rather speak to someone first, call us directly. We answer the phone Monday to Saturday.
